The Police and Emergency Services Board responsibilities include police department budget; planning, organization and training of the city's police force; developing policies promoting county-wide communications for emergency situations; developing a community-wide police department public relations program; chair serves as liaison to the Fire Protection District and the St. James Ambulance District.
